Charters Short Mat Bowls Club

We are a small, friendly, short mat bowls club, formed in 1984 when we met at Charters School (hence the name of the bowls club).

We now meet on a Tuesday evening from 7.00 – 9.30 pm at Carnation Hall, Chavey Down Road, Winkfield, RG42 7PA, where there is plenty of parking and space to have four bowls mats out.  

​

We are looking for new members from total beginners (tuition and equipment will be provided), to existing bowlers.   It is a relaxed, fun evening with exercise as a bonus.   We enjoy matches with other clubs, for those that wish to take part, in-house singles competitions and an annual Skittles evening.  

 

Cost for Non-Members is £4.50 per evening.   For those that wish to join the annual membership is £30 plus £4.00 per evening.    All are welcome (minimum age 18).

Why not come along and give it a try.  Just bring some flat shoes to change into for going onto the mat.
